The Jessie Rose Trip - Forever and a Day [Single]

The Jessie Rose Trip - Forever and a Day [Single]

New music club

The Jessie Rose Trip are a four piece band who hail from Stockport, just outside Manchester. They're made up of, yep, you guessed it; Jessie Rose on lead vocals / lead guitar / piano along with her band who are James Wood playing Drums / percussion, Jonny Thomson on Trumpet / piano, Mark Lewis on Bass and they're set for soulful reggae pop world domination! In fact, in my eyes The Jessie Rose Trip are more infectious than swine flu and make their already famous contemporaries look past it, aged and frankly boring.

Over the last year The Jessie Rose Trip have gained an increased army of fans, rising evermore in popularity. Perhaps this is because they have been busy playing so many fantastic memorable gigs that it's almost impossible for anyone who has caught their live shows to forget them. It might not only be their great live shows that has seen them become one of Manchester's hotly tipped acts, but possibly because earlier this year they self-released their debut single 'Forever and a Day'.

'Forever and a Day' is an unbelievably brilliant track brimming with more hooks than a barb-wire fence. It guarantees to brighten up any gloomy-rainy Manchester day with its glorious vocal harmonies (cue goose-bumps) and soul-hugging reggae bouncy beat. You'll want to jump around and hug people! Jessie's distinctive vocals are perfectly tuneful and combined with the backing bands music it will melt that hardest of hearts, carrying the individual to a blissful place. The organ sound in the background hints at their influences and adds an even more warming effect on the song, incredible! 'Forever and a Day' simply transports one to a blissful paradise. 'Forever and a Day' is simply a bright, beamingly happy day on a record, it guarantees to make you smile and you'll play it again and again. 'Forever and a Day' is available now and you can buy it on iTunes, so go spend a minuscule amount and make your day even happier!

With countless music industry iconic figures showing support for the band, including Clint Boon (of Inspiral Carpets fame), sometime soon The Jessie Rose Trip will hit the stratosphere and rightly so!
