Knievel Genius - Daylight [Single]

Knievel Genius - Daylight [Single]

Self Released

Meaty riffs - BIG old slabs of uncooked beef - come shuddering out the speakers when you put on the cartoonishly named Knievel Genius' debut single 'Daylight'. It's gonna be a lot of fun to play on Rock Band XXVII.

To be frank those massive ball crushing stutters are the only thing that's going to bring you back to this track in the end. The drumming is okay and the vocals are a nice shout / sing combo but are for the most part buried under the mega-tonnage of that guitar line.

The problem is, that Knievel Genius only have the one trick going on throughout 'Daylight'. It's a damn fine trick no mistake but if Knievel Genius ever want to get to the stage where the game programmers come a knocking then they better have some new magic to show on their next output.

All the same, a classy first effort and well worth a bang of the head.
