Why, oh why, oh why do bands do it?

Oi Svengali Noooooooooo!

Don’t name a track 'Start Of The Scene' and sing on that track about starting a new scene, when you sound like every band that you’re into. Where do I start, Oasis, The Verve, The Music, need I go on.

'Start Of The Scene' is not a bad track but it’s also not a great song. The vocals are good and the chorus is quite catchy but the poor attempt at a Noel Gallagher blues / rock riff just doesn’t do it for me.

I honestly don’t know what else to say. If Svengali sat down and thought more about the content of a song and came up with some better ideas and lyrical content then maybe they may be able to make something for themselves, but unfortunately this recycled rubbish just doesn’t cut it.

By the look of the cover and the photos these guys are so stuck in the early 90s.
