From Cheltenham and still at school, most of The Trends cherubic mates on Facebook look like they still religiously Sky+ Ben 10. All credit to the quartet though for getting off their arses and forming a band, although I imagine the alternative in their home town is inflating condoms and letting them go outside KFC. Again.
Objectively, The Boys At Number 10 is yet more proof - were it needed - that the Gallaghers' musical spunk has been thrown injudiciously far and wide in the last 15 years. The overall effect is reminiscent of a sedated Twisted Wheel, as fantastically named singer Frances Barry Goats occasionally hits a note, although the guitar lines are puréed indie fodder.
Additional track 'The Story of Today' is blatantly anti-war, a conflict which you assume, given their tender years that the band were exposed to while playing Call of Duty 3 on the X-Box.
