The Nextmen - Round Of Applause Ft. Dynamite MC [Single]
 

Never mind us getting a 'Round Of Applause,' what have we done? Brad Ellis and Dom Betmead are the ones that deserve the appreciation. Nine years down the line and the two remixers are still pumping out the venomous hip hop beats.

This time The Nextmen have collaborated with a chap going by the explosive name of Dynamite MC. The vocal delivery is warm, sharp and fresh - reminiscent of 'brown paper bag' man; Roni Size. "I said that you should get a round of applause" floats around a sing-along "clap your hand now people clap your hand" in a group chant.

The Nextmen compliment this delivery with a laid back, break-beat which also inludes samples. They successfully produce a heart warming, easy-going sound. It sounds new, but keeps an old-school vibe within the multiple layers. Those layers contain a slight amount of bass thumps and subtle scratching to add to all the fun.

By keeping it simple The Nextmen push through into a wider audience of listeners with 'Round Of Applause.' So it had to be said then, a "Round Of Applause" for The Nextmen.
