D.I.S.C.O is back but this time it's brought the annoying prefix 'Nu' with it and Shena is blazing the trail with her new tune 'Nasty Little Rumour' taken from the album "One Man Woman."

Produced by husband James Winchester this is proper hen-night affair with all the up tempo beats and strong willed, attitude packed, chorus orientated ingredients that involves. It's Earth, Wind and Fire in your front room, it's Chic blasting you with good times, it's every Harvester advert ever made - it's the 1970's all over again and Shena wants you to dance god dammit!

'Nasty Little Rumour' is very well put together with hardly a note out of place or an unpolished beat to be found. The whole song struts along in towering platforms right from the opening bars, replete with horns and funky rhythm guitar. The vocals are accomplished but that's to be expected from Shena, having lent her voice to tunes like Alex Gaudino's 'Watch Out', De Souza's 'Guilty' and Michael Gray's massive 'The Weekend'.

Shena has hit all the right notes and ticked all the right boxes with this one so if you're into a bit of light hearted dance floor filing fun then she's your lady. Personally disco makes me puke but to each their own, you go shake that ass.
