Tangled Up!
Anyone remember Indie Pop? Mixtapes & Cellmates do. Mind you, they're Swedish and it's still a big thing over there apparently. Musically, 'Soon' sounds like a vaguely twee take on an early Senseless Things number (although, sadly lacking Mark Keds' caustic vocals).
The good news is, that 'Soon' is a pleasant enough way of spending a few minutes and it offers a healthy dose of retro nostalgia - listening to it I was forced to remember nights at crappy indie discos, gawking at the goth girls across the dance floor.
The bad news is, it is fairly disposable. 'Soon' literally goes in one ear and straight out the other. I just listened to it three times in a row and I couldn't hum you the tune or quote you a single line if my life depended on it, although, I do vaguely remember something about being outside a factory which isn't going to help you track it down on Google.
You may well like it, and if you yearn for the days when indie was all about shoegazing and tweeness then this might be just what you're looking for. Chances are though, this is a song that will go into your iTunes, get played once then only ever get heard again if you press "shuffle" and your computer throws it up at random.
