32 Leaves - Welcome To The Fall [album] 2 Attachment(s) Was listening to a bunch of promos I had in the mail today this evening. Went through like 3 CDs and continued to work and develop altsounds when one band took my ear because they were different. They weren't that unoriginal all so familiar emo/screamo band that when you put their CD in your like OMFG not another Taking Back Sunday/Funeral For A Friend Wannabe (can anyone spot two of my favourite bands?). Anyways. 32 Leaves are putting an interesting direction on rock music. I think a lot has to do with the production too. Hold on, 32 Leaves are on double blind music (MySpace.com - DOUBLE BLIND MUSIC - NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Rock - www.myspace.com/doubleblind) which is a new rock branch of System Recordings (SYSTEM RECORDINGS © 2008) a dance label with many recognizable names in the elctronic / dance world. I wonder if this rock band was produced by an electronic producer which is why it makes it so original. It's very nicely produced in a different way and I like it. * Turns over CD cover to read who produced this * * Promo Copy, no information * Back to the point. 32 Leaves are a very unique rock band. Unlike anything I have ever heard b4. Not saying their the best band ever, not saying their the worst band ever, just saying that they are a VERY unique band and today thats a diificult thing to find. I like their songs, I like their sound I'm gonna go out and buy their album. Oh wait. I already have it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY for me. BUY THIS ****ING CD WHEN IT COMES OUT. AND GO CHECK OUT 32 LEAVES FOR YOURSELF RIGHT NOW BITCHES. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. listen here: 32 Leaves at Altsounds.com | Alternative Music Online |
Re: 32 Leaves - Welcome To The Fall My opinion of 32 leaves is that even in this flooded mix of hardrock radio bands, 32 leaves is a standout band for sure. Unique in a way that sonds clearly like no other than 32 leaves. You can hear their possible influences ranging from the vocal tone similar to A Perfect Circle or Cold, yet different enough to carve a path of distinction. I have listened to the entire album which carries a solid hard rocking balance with a good radio hook in songs like "blood on my hands" to the crushing guitar riffs of "Never even There". The rest of the CD carries evenly in its mid tempo agression yet fades so commonly as many CD's do toward its final tracks. In conclusion, "Welcome To The Fall" is still a mighty album of 12 consistant tracks you can whip your head around to and sometimes wallow in sorrow. Mike _ Altsounds.com |
