Like many of the audience, I wasn’t old enough to see Joy Division live. Peter Hook & The Light have been touring playing the album Unknown Pleasures in full together with 12+ other Joy Division songs to people hungry to experience the tracks live.

Hook delivered the songs in a style not too dissimilar to that of Ian Curtis, and his bass-lines were distinctly recognisable – whether played by himself or by his son. The included photos were taken at Rescue Rooms, Nottingham on 27 May 2012. Support was provided by Peter Hook’s Haçienda Records label signing humanizer.
