For a band whose success is only really associated with one, miserable song in ‘Apologize’, ‘Feel Again’ is a brightening of spirits.

One Republic opens the track with a heartbeat. Rather aptly, the track builds around the pulse as the entire concept is about sense and feeling.

The main chorus melody is wonderfully catchy and would make a brilliant sing-along at larger festivals. There is a certain soul to the voice of Ryan Tedder, but the production skills and teamwork of Zach Filkins adds an extra kick on the choral backing vocals.

WATCH // 'Feel Again'

There are a number of musical layers to ‘Feel Again’, each one dripping with ambience and reverb, but its not sickly. Instead it captures the perfect combination to make a successful, radio-friendly pop song.

The weakest part is Filkins lame guitar lead before the final chorus. Why it’s included no one may know. Otherwise, One Republic have produced another song sure to dominate radio airplay, this time however, it might just cheer people up.
