Tarja of Nightwish and Sharon of Within Temptation have just found new competition in the form of Mexican vocalist Marcela Bovio who is remarkable on the debut release by Stream of Passion. The music is a symphony to the ear with a hint of Eastern tones adding to the overall effect. The mix of Goth and progressive is a wonderful collaboration on "Embrace the Storm". This indeed is a debut that has set high standards to attain to.

Stream of Passion is a holy war within themselves with excitement and star-studded musicianship. The violin is subtle and positioned in the arrangement to accompany the power of the guitar work. "Deceiver is an excellent tune with all the right elements with highs and lows that make ear ringing enjoyable. Marcela has a heavenly voice that will take to the hearts of many fans. "Haunted is exquisite and when you are mellowing out to the voice of Marcela expect a symphony that will truly uplift you. The piano work on "Wherever You Are by Alejandro Millán is fantastic when he hooks up with guitarist Arjen Anthony Lucassen. This release is at times haunting and dark and at other times can put you in a state of mind the same way Pink Floyd can do. If you’re a NIGHTWISH or WITHIN TEMPTATION fan this is a must have CD. There are many good songs however, the highlight track has to be "Out In The Real World, it is genius the way the lyrics are arranged and each instrument gets to stand out and shine.
