Aiden makes the transition from no name local band to soon to be superstars really well...the production in and of itself make this record a winner, but the music and lyrics add to it...Think older AFI mixed with MCR and you get the sound idea, and vocally Wil shines. The biggest gripe I have about this CD, is that so many bands are going for the "ooooohhh we're spooky and dark lets wear make-up and sing and scream and use the words blood and death and hell over and over again" rebellion you can buy at Hot-Topic, and I think most people will lool over Aiden with that attitude...but one thing that saves this CD from the milquetoast copycats is that it is PERSONAL...I mean how many bands do you hear openly talking about recovery from drug addiction? While Aiden does make a damn good cd, and I am truly rocking this CD more often than not, and minus the American Psycho quotes from this CD, it is still damn good...I have to say that even though this band is still young, I think they will come into their own on the next record...good job on everything guys...I see very bright things for them and the "image" people bitch about will disipate, and Aiden will remain strong...8.5/10
