Ok, let me say this first, SOT IS ONE OF VICTORYS UNDERRATED BANDS...now that thats outta the way, SOT UNLEASH A ****ING MONSTER..."The Horror..." reminds me of a mix of DEFTONES/VOD/SOT...three bands I like...now the crunch is there, the breakdowns, the melancholic melodies, and a guest spot from Alex V. of Atreyu...you have the staples that made SOT a great band, the breakdowns with a groove to them...the vocals are improved and more understandable...the overall tone of this record to me is one of desolation and disconnection...its a great cd and I wont take that back...SOT really deserves a chance, and this is probably the record to get them out there...do yourself a favor and check this out.
