Ok, this is the OLD FOT...and it shows...they were 17 when they put this to CD...it shows...there is energy, but the songs don't sound polished... I kind of like that to be honest...now DOPPELGANER has the best songs from the record (Mouths like sidewinder missiles, FCP, Whacko Jacko, I Just Got This Symphony...) and older songs, that I would love to hear re-done...its not as good as the new record, but it has all the elements that made me love Doppelganger...and some of the vocals on the older songs actually seem more fitting than now...it is energetic, but needs polishing and some-reworking...it is still a damn good cd, and they were FREAKIN 17 WHEN THEY DID IT!!!! Not bad, and I can honestly say the changes they made were for the better...this is good, but does not hold a candle to the new one...overall a great cd to see where these kids got their start.... check it out also for the songs not on Doppelganger.
