What do ya get when ya cross members of Saosin, Circa Survive, Taken and This Day Forward? This lovely self-released avant garde cd...think The Mars Volta meets aggression in the vein of Sasosin/Taken, and you get the idea...this record swoons and shows off the talents of the band, playing with influences that are more Jazz, Acid Rock, and progressive "modern jam bands" than anything else, and vocally it just seems like it fits perfectly, and there is no hesitation to all the changes...everything adapts perfectly to compliment the other (like The Mars Volta and For The Mathematics)...its almost operatic and epic in over-all scope, but the damn interludes tend to take away from the frantic and beautiful music in the main songs...it seems a bit incomplete, but that could be the point...for something different, and well, just relaxing, I think this is a good choice, its just seems way to short...I WANT MORE
