Ok, yes there is over the top Iron Maiden riff aping, and there is some wankage abound in this full length from the UK. While I don’t mind the return of the riff in metal, I do not like the fact that every band is doing, but BFMV actually pull it off rather well. Minus some of the cliché topics, and the really slick production, underneath is a decent record. By no means is it something new at all, it is one thing a lot of bands that have cloned this sound isn’t, and that is it is actually fun to listen too. It has good hooks, and great vocals, and is good to rock out too from time to time, but by no means the best record I have heard. I like this band, and even though this style is getting heavily overplayed, with the metal, the singing and screaming combo, it makes you tap your toes. Decent, but not the greatest record ever recorded. I think this band has more potential, but they fell short on this release, and that’s what time is for, to make things better. 7.0/10
