Now, August Burns Red play a style akin to that of Dillenger Escape Plan meets Unearth. Got a good idea where this is going?

Well, to be honest, this is a nice, albeit slightly rehashed sound as of the past few years, ABR has outdone themselves since the release of “Looks Fragile After” EP. The pure crushing and technical side of this cd make it worth the money alone, and for fans of metalcore, stop reading this and go and buy this now.

While the CD may drone on for casual fans of metalcore, this is something special to even the most jaded fans of this subgenre. If its not the frantic energy of opener “Your Little Suburbia Is In Ruins”, some of the best gang vocals in “Endorphins”, or the window breaking breakdowns of “A Shot Below The Belt”, this release is just fun.

Sure the lyrics are more serious, probably some religious stuff in there as well, but, I must say I enjoy this release quite a bit.
