Philly has some damn good bands, and Blacklisted is no exception to this rule. I have not heard many good straightforward hardcore releases in the past few years, but when Blacklisted put out this new slab of hardcore fury, I knew I was in for something great.

Gang Vocals, check, Fast Parts, check, tough breakdowns, check, no bullshit lyrics, check. With every release from deathwishinc, the art is absolutely amazing, and the dark feel of it fits the lyrics, and overall sound of the record, like all deathwish releases the art reflects life (insert more clichéd sayings here, blah blah blah).

The songs are varied enough to keep you interested the whole way through, and vocal/lyric/song-writing quality on this release really show off how far they have come as a band. While the more depressing content may put them into the category of bands aping American Nightmares’ back catalog content-wise, Blacklisted took the honesty shown by bands like AN and made something more brutal, honest, and above all special. You say you like hardcore? You need this as soon as possible…NOW!!!
