Ignite – Our Darkest Days

I will keep this quick and all.
For the uninitiated, Ignite is one of the VERY BEST melodic, socially and politically active hardcore bands from the west coast EVER.
After a lackluster release “A Place Called Home”, not much touring, it seems Ignite is, well, re-ignited and back with a superb release.
Vocals held stronger than ever by Zoli Teglas, and even as a four piece, Ignite bring a fury (melodic mind you) still unmatched by any other band in that sub-genre. From opener “Our Darkest Days/BLEEDING”, to a beautiful ballad, and the best cover of the U2 classic “Sunday Bloody Sunday” (it was so well done, if you never heard of U2, you’d think Ignite wrote it).
It has everything you want in a good release, melody, great lyrical content, great vocals, great song-writing. If you don’t know about Ignite, this is a great place to start, welcome back guys…
