This band are an excellent mix of classic blues and hard driving rock with traces of AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and Wolfmother. "Showdown" is based around some rocking riffs and its hard to believe that this band are just a 3 piece. A lot of power and agression for 3 people to put out!

Jacob Sproul has a very powerful and gritty voice that take the lead easily and really carry this song along. As good as this, it's not really original and nothing you haven't heard before. The band are young and creative and I'm sure there are many more good things to come from them as the trio blossoms.

After listening to the CD single I suggest that you skip track one and just slam the B-side straight on. Almost double the length of the "single" this really shows the bands ability as it is a live version of Showdown (complete with a minute-long solo!). The B-side demonstrates the sheer live power that these guys offer and listening to it makes me want to check them out when they are next in town.
