Mark Ronson has made a name for himself in the UK music scene through his production work form Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen.

His newest solo release "Just" arrived on my doorat this morning. Featuring Alex Greenwald from Phantom Planet on guitar. "Just" is a cover version of a great original track by Radiohead. Knowing Mark Ronsons style I thought before listening that this would be an outrage to the original.

As the funk begins I am pleasantly suprised by the vibe of the track. I am not sure here if these are the original vocals or not as whoever is singing sounds very much like Thom York from Radiohead - so much so it's impossible to tell. He must have used the originals??

My favourite part of this entire track is actually the bass. The bass player is amazing!! The original "Just" by Radiohead had an amazing music video in fact one of my favourtie of all time. I have included this below for you guys to check out:

Overall this single is a pleasant listen and the remixes are all pretty fun. There are remixes on here from The Go! Team and RZA of Wu Tang Clan. Would have been nicer to hear some new material from Mark rather than a cover version but it's nice just the same. This single isn't enough for me to want to buy his album but I will definitely be paying attention more now when hearing or seeing his name.
