you know 've heard this whole CD and what bugs me is not that it sucks or anything, but that Dave grole writes such melodic powerful shit yet on this record he seems to be trying a bit too hard and way too many FX burying his vocal.

Fucking major labels!! wel done regardless.

oh and P.S. do we really need almost 20 songs on a record?

I have to agree. I had the same thought (he was trying too hard) when i listened to all the songs. Although, I do believe there are some really unbelievable songs...Check Out DOA...it rocks!

Oh how I pray that this isn't Dave Grohl jumping the shark...I doubt it is. Remember, Foo is your enemy!

Well, after listening to the new album a few times over the weekend I have to say that my opinion has changes. These songs do grow on you quickly. In fact, no that I think of it, that's how each of the Foo Fighters albums have hooked me. I listen a few times and next thing I know I find myself singing them in the car, shower, etc. This is no exception. I was driving back from the shore last night and found myself singing "No Way Back" I've said it before and I'll say it again...Dave Grohl is an unbelievable song writer.
