I have played it a few years ago for a little while. It is pretty weird. What I experienced was the type of people that use it are people that are not happy with their current lives, the place is huge and it is confusing and I could see that people could waste their entire lives on it. I spent about a week on it but nothing happens it is just like real life in a computer world. I wouldn't consider it a game more a place for certain people to look like they are better looking or have more personality than they do.

You just Looked on the wrong side of Second Life - I have been working in Second Life since 2006... and no Not a Hooker!
I work with Real life clients, Colgate,World bank, Nestles, and more.
Second Life also has a HUGE community of Independent artists, should stop by and give a listen at a live event sometime!

I must say that I am impressed with your ability to scope out people talking about your game. So what could you do to help promote altsounds.com in Second Life? Could we have a place in your world where we incorporate the altsounds articles into a physical museum type building or something?? That would be cool!

Sure that could be done, and more with links to the web site. Being you are a music site, I think it would be a perfect match for second life and the music community. If you would drop me an email we can get more into what can and cant be done : )

Yeah man talking with him now, might besetting up an Altsounds Towers in the game with three sections, a Trashcan Fodder Area, A Cream of The Crop Area and a Live Stage for live sessions and stuff. Will keep you informed.
